SCHOLARSHIPS
WILD11 has a limited number of partial scholarships potentially available only for those delegates with no other support possible, and primarily for those who either have had their abstracts accepted or who are bona fide community representatives. For your funding, we encourage you to first ask for support from your organization, family, community, supporters or granting organizations before applying for a WILD11 scholarship.
WILD11 encourages and welcomes a diversity of individuals, experiences, ages, cultures and perspectives. To ensure this value is met, we ask sponsors to contribute to a scholarship fund to assist those in genuine need of financial assistance to attend the Congress.
Who is eligible?
Eligibility is based on a number of factors. WILD11 reserves the right to allocate awards on both economic factors and/or Congress priorities. The scholarship budget is determined by a committee once applications have been received. As participants come from all over the world please note that travel, lodging, VISA or other additional costs are not typically covered by a scholarship. In few cases we award lodging and meals in addition to registration. General student scholarships are not available as we offer a discounted rate of $400 USD for those residing outside India, and 2,000 rupees for residents of India.
How to apply
To apply for a scholarship, please fill out the Google form below. If you have an abstract that has been submitted, please include that information as well. Applicants with accepted abstracts will be considered first, and on a case by case basis. If you have issues with submitting your form, please contact us for assistance.
When are applications due?
Applications are due and preferred by December 1, 2019. Applications received by this date will receive priority consideration. We will accept further applications until December 31, 2019.
